The 16th October will see the FORS standard v5.0 be available for download from the FORS website. Hard copies will be handed out at the FORS Members Conference to attendees.
Organisations with audit dates on and from 14 January 2019 will be audited against v5.0 and must therefore prepare their Bronze, Silver or Gold audit(s) against the revised requirements.
Key revisions of v5.0 involve a restructure and renumbering of some requirements, although there is no change in format (Requirement, Purpose and Demonstration). The requirements are universal to all fleet types, but where applicable the FORS Standard provides specific detail for fleets with different vehicle types, including van, passenger service vehicle and powered two-wheelers.
